To create a truly bespoke engagement ring, we're inviting you to be part of a memorable process where you're not just a customer but a co-creator. This experience goes beyond traditional jewellery shopping, turning it into a journey of personal expression and excellent craftsmanship.
Here, your vision, taste, and love story are the foundation for an extraordinary piece of jewellery. Our experts, equipped with unparalleled skill and a passion for perfection, bring your own engagement ring design to life using quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
It's more than an engagement ring—it's a testament to your unique love, designed by you, crafted by us. Welcome to a world of endless possibilities.
When designing engagement rings, our process ensures you're involved every step of the way. Let us help craft a unique symbol of your affection through the following steps:
Our range of diamond shapes includes brilliant round, oval, pear tear drop, marquis, emerald, princess, heart kite and Asscher. With such a wide variety of choices, you'll be sure to find a diamond that inspires you.
Let us take a look at what suits you best. Luxurious rose gold, white and yellow gold and platinum are just a few of the options available.
The perfect engagement ring will look to match your unique style. Choose from our various plain, fancy, art deco, diamond halo, or contemporary designs. Once you’ve decided on the stone shape, settings come next. Our experts will assist with your choice based on your style preference, finger shape and other factors you want to be taken into consideration.
One of the most intimate ways to personalise your engagement ring is through engraving. This could be a special date, a personal message, your initials, or anything that holds a special meaning for you both. We'll meticulously engrave each letter, transforming your ring into a beautiful keepsake of memories and promises.
The presentation of your bespoke engagement ring is just as important as the ring itself. At Alicia J Diamonds, we understand this and offer the option to personalise your ring box. Add your initials, a meaningful date, or a special message that adds more sentiment to your proposal.
We aim to provide a rich educational experience for our clients. We believe in empowering you, in aiding your understanding of the world of diamonds, precious gemstones, and fine jewellery. From understanding the 4Cs of diamond quality—cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight—to knowing the different types of precious metals and ring settings, we ensure you are well informed to make the perfect choice when designing bespoke jewellery.
Our expert team is committed to educating you about the work behind each piece, the importance of ethically sourced materials, and how different designs can reflect your unique style and story. Every step in the creation process, from concept to completion, is transparent, ensuring you are part of the journey, not just a passive observer.
We're here to create, educate, and inspire.

What colour is a diamond? Many say they’re colourless, however, look closely and most contain subtle tints of yellows, soft pinks and rich browns. Truly colourless diamonds are known as white diamonds and are extremely rare and the most valuable. Diamond colour is graded from D to Z – D being the whitest, most colourless diamond and Z containing noticeable yellow, brown or pink tints. The letters D to Z represent a range of colour based on a combination of tone, lightness or darkness and saturation.
Cut
Diamond cut refers to the arrangement of a diamond’s facets. A diamond’s cut is often mistaken as meaning its shape (oval, pear, etc), but a diamond’s cut grade is actually about how well the facets interact with light.
Polish
Polish refers to the overall smoothness and condition of the diamond’s surface. It’s rare for a diamond to have a perfect polish. More often, they have tiny imperfections not visible to the naked eye.
Symmetry
Symmetry refers to how well-aligned the diamond's facets are. Symmetry, on the other hand, refers to the exactness of shape, overall outline, placement and alignment of individual facets.
The gradings provided by the GIA go from poor to excellent. If you select an SI clarity, we will provide Very Good cut, polish and symmetry. If you select a VS1 clarity, we will provide Excellent cut, polish and symmetry.
