Our Ring Styles

Couples seeking a smaller-carat diamond engagement ring might want to think outside of the box and choose a unique ring style.

Here are some of the options to consider:

Solitaire: The classic ring setting with a central stone ensconced in a metal band.

Trilogy: A three-stone diamond ring with an enlarged centrepiece representing the past, present, and the future.

Pavé: These engagement rings feature a central stone alongside a series of smaller diamonds inside the metal band.

0.5 Carat Engagement Ring FAQs:

Here are some key questions about our 0.5 carat engagement rings:

Is 0.5 Carat Ok For A Diamond Engagement Ring?

A 0.5 carat diamond is an appropriate size for an engagement ring. It is around 5.25mm in diameter so is only just over 1mm smaller than a 1 carat diamond. If you’re on a tighter budget and you’d like to get more for your money, we’d recommend choosing a stone with an elongated shape. Pear, oval and marquise shapes all appear larger for the same weight as a round brilliant-cut.

How Small Is Too Small For A Diamond?

A diamond of between 0.1 to 0.4 carats is often considered small. However, there is no clear answer about whether they’re too small for an engagement ring. Ultimately it is a matter of personal preference. Some may prefer understated and minimalist diamond rings, while others may seek out our exquisite craftsmanship for a show-stopping centrepiece. Whatever your choice we’re on hand to support and guide you every step of the way. Find inspiration from our stunning selection.
